Frequently Asked Questions
We are a CPA firm located in Springdale, Arkansas. We serve clients in Northwest Arkansas (NWA) and surrounding areas.
A bookkeeper keeps track of your business’s money—what comes in, what goes out, and organizes the records so you always know where your finances stand.
A full-charge bookkeeper handles all the day-to-day financial operations, like payroll, paying bills, and sending invoices—on top of tracking every transaction.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
A CPA is a licensed accounting professional who can do more than just taxes. A CPA is required to typically get a bachelors + master’s degree to fulfill the 150-credit requirement, pass 4 rigorous accounting exams, and gain work experience under another CPA before licensure. CPAs can prepare tax returns, give tax advice, attest to financial statement accuracy, and help with complex business or personal tax matters. CPAs also have unlimited representation rights in front of the Internal Revenue Service for tax audits, appeals, and collection matters.
Tax Preparer
A tax preparer’s main focus is filing your taxes. Some are licensed, some are not, but their job is to get your return done and submitted.
Self-Service
Self-Service is software, not a person. It walks you through preparing and filing your own taxes step by step. It’s usually cheaper, but you’re doing the work yourself.
Bookkeepers manage daily financial records. CPAs handle taxes, financial strategy, and more complex money matters. At our firm, we offer both, so you’re covered from daily details to big-picture planning.
Bookkeeping records the daily financial activity. Accounting uses those records to prepare reports, analyze performance, and plan ahead. Our team can handle both sides for you.
For most individuals and businesses, taxes are due on April 15th each year. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, it’s usually the next business day. We’ll keep you on track so you never miss a deadline.
